Our Commitment

Support HVACR Trade Inc. believes that STEM education, skilled trades awareness, and workforce development resources should be accessible to everyone — including students, parents, educators, and community partners who use assistive technology.

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability, and to continually improving the user experience for everyone.

Conformance Goal

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Ongoing efforts include:

• Descriptive alt text on informative images
• Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
• Visible keyboard focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields
• Logical heading structure and landmark regions for screen readers
• Labeled form fields with clear instructions and error messaging
• Keyboard-operable navigation, including the mobile menu and FAQ accordion

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party embeds (such as our Zeffy donation form) are hosted externally and follow their own accessibility practices, which we do not control directly. We are actively working to identify and correct any remaining barriers.
